What is the warranty on Dioptics products?
One (1) Year Limited Warranty – Dioptics products are warranted to the original purchaser by FGX International (FGX) for any breakage due to manufacturer’s defects for one (1) year from date of purchase. This limited warranty is only valid with proof of purchase from an authorized FGX dealer. The limited warranty will be void if the return does not include receipt as proof of purchase and date of original purchase. FGX will, at its option, repair or replace any eyewear product found to be defective. This excludes damage caused by improper or unreasonable use, and does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, scratched lenses, lost screws or accidental damage. Any alteration to the original product will void this limited warranty. FGX reserves the right to make the final determination on whether any damage is due to manufacturer’s defect.
Products returned to FGX must be accompanied by the following:
1. A dated copy of the original purchase receipt
2. A brief note detailing the problem with the product and how it occurred
3. A check or money order for the amount of $4.95 to cover shipping and handling costs. Within the U.S. (and US territories) and Canada*
4. Include your name, phone number, email and address
Please note: FGX strongly recommends that you use a traceable method of shipment to ensure and track the return of your merchandise. FGX is not responsible if your return is lost in transit.

Please package all eyewear products carefully to avoid any further damage. FGX will not be held responsible for damage cause by improper shipping or non-receipt. What is “Satisfaction Guaranteed” & your Return/Exchange Policy?
Your satisfaction is our number one priority. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it within 30 days of original purchase date for an exchange or refund. A postage paid label is included with all shipments for your convenience. Refund does not include original shipping and handling.
1. Refunds will be issued minus the shipping fee
2. Exchanges must be for a product of equal or less value of
the original purchase
3. Products must be in the condition you received them and
in the original box and/or packaging. Please include the original
packing slip with the return.
4. Please include a brief note detailing:
• Reason for the return
• Indicate Exchange or Refund
• If exchanging indicate which style to send, Style Name, Size and Style # (if applicable)
• Include your name, address and daytime telephone number
5. Apply the pre-paid postage Merchandise Return Label to the box
6. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your request to be processed

How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders shipping within the United States are shipped via US Postal Service (USPS) and take 48 hours or 1-2 business days to process through our warehouse in Rhode Island. Order should be received within 5-10 business days from shipping within the US. International orders must ship to a physical address not a lock box or P.O. Box and may take up to 4-6 weeks to receive. We are not responsible for taxes or duties on any international order. Priority delivery is available upon request for an additional charge; contact customer service for additional information at 800-959-9038 Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm Eastern Time.
Can I get a tracking number for my order?
We now have tracking for USPS after the package is delivered to the customer. Orders are shipped via US Postal Service (USPS) 4th class mail. Contact customer service at 800-959-9038 Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm Eastern Time.
My sunglasses are broken; can I get a replacement part (lens, screw, temple, etc.)?
We do not offer repairs or replacement parts for our products. All Dioptics products offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on defects in material and/or workmanship. Please see our Limited Warranty Policy for more information.
What is the best way to clean my lenses?
You should never clean your lenses with anything other than a micro-fiber cleaning cloth. These cloths are designed to remove contaminants without any damage to the lens. Some textiles, napkins and paper towels are far too abrasive to use and could cause more harm than good.
A dry micro-fiber cleaning cloth will normally polish your lenses without the need of any cleaning solution. However, if the lenses are extremely dirty, please use water or approved lens cleaning solution only. Do not use household cleaners, soaps or chemicals as this may permanently damage the lenses. Your cleaning cloth should be periodically rinsed clean.
Our complete Lens Cleaning Kit includes a micro fiber cleaning cloth and streak free lens cleaning solution. Some of our sunglasses already include a cleaning cloth but our complete Lens Cleaning Kit and other accessories are available for purchase on our website.
What is the difference between the temporary sunglasses my doctor gave me and the sunglasses on DiopticsSunwear.com?
The temporary pair of sunglasses you received from your doctor are probably made out of polycarbonate plastic and provide 100% UVA/UVB protection. The sunglasses offered on www.DiopticsSunwear.com have frames that are made from a higher quality nylon material, have polarized lenses to help reduce glare and also have lenses that block 100% UVA/UVB rays.
Do all your sunglass lenses block 100% UVA and UVB rays?
Yes, all Dioptics sunglasses feature lenses that deliver 100% UVA/UVB Protection. Not only do our sunglass lenses block 100% of UVA/UVB rays, but we understand that the sunglass frame itself is as important as the lenses and design our sunglasses to conform to our principals of Advanced UV Protection™. What is the difference between Polycarbonate & Polarized lenses?
Polycarbonate lenses are popular because they are lightweight, more impact-resistant than regular glass and plastic lenses and offer 100% UVA/UVB protection.
Polarized lenses help to reduce glare that can be irritating and harmful. Glare is generated by reflective surfaces and causes your eyes to squint or strain which can inhibit your vision, lead to eyestrain, fatigue, and headaches. All of our polarized lenses deliver 100% UVA/UVB protection and 100% polarization efficiency.

The sunglasses I ordered do not fit, how can I return them?
There is a return shipping label with instructions for returning items for a refund or exchange within your shipment. Refund is on merchandise only, excludes shipping and handling charges. If you do not have your return shipping label you may contact customer service for support.
If I have a 2-for-1 offer can I buy one style and get a different style for my free pair?
If you have enter a source code for a 2-for-1 sunglass offer and choose a style, the same style with a different lens/frame will automatically show up in your cart. If you would like to choose a different style for your free pair you can call our Customer Service Department and they can help you customize your order since our website does not have that capability at this time.
What is a Source Code?
Source codes are promotional codes used to redeem special offers on our website. If you received a flyer from your eyecare professional or an email offer from us you may find a source code at the bottom of the order form or email. To redeem your special offer you should enter your source code into the “BUY WITH SOURCE CODE” field on the top of our website and click the orange “Enter” button. Proceed with shopping as usual and the special offer prices will be reflected when you add a product(s) to your cart.
Email offers usually include a source code at the bottom of the email but you can also click anywhere on the email to enter our website and the source code should automatically be applied to the product(s) included in the offer.

How do you accept mail order payments from outside the United States?
