You should never clean your lenses with anything other than a micro-fiber cleaning cloth. These cloths are designed to remove contaminants without any damage to the lens. Some textiles, napkins and paper towels are far too abrasive to use and could cause more harm than good.
A dry micro-fiber cleaning cloth will normally polish your lenses without the need of any cleaning solution. However, if the lenses are extremely dirty, please use water or approved lens cleaning solution only. Do not use household cleaners or chemicals as this may permanently damage the lenses. Your cleaning cloth should be periodically rinsed clean.
